Visit Chatten Associates in booth #429 at the upcoming NDIA 2012 Ground Robotics Capabilities Conference in San Diego. We will be showing cameras, gimbals, pan-tilt units, stereo vision, and immersive telepresence specifically designed for the needs of ground robotics.

Chatten Associates will presenting the results of our recent study comparing stereo vs. monoscopic and high-definition vs. standard definition head-aimed vision systems at the upcoming SPIE Defense Security and Sensing meting in Baltimore MD. The paper will be presented as part of the Unmanned Systems Technology XIV conference on April 25, 2012.

The HARV ISR gimbal is a lightweight, high performance gimbal for ground vehicle and surveillance applications. This gimbal is loaded with a color/NIR zoom camera, thermal camera, and laser range finder - all in a 7 pound, 7.5" swept diameter package. Like all Chatten Associates gimbals, the HARV ISR can be head-aimed, joystick driven, or controlled by software that you develop using our freely available HARV Communication Protocol documentation.

Chatten Associates will be presenting "Development of a dichoptic foveal/peripheral head-mounted display with partial binocular overlap" at SPIE Defense, Security, and Sensing 2011 (Orlando World Center Marriott, Orlando, FL). This paper covers our dichoptic vision system (DiVS) project, funded under Air Force SBIR FA8650-10-M-6068.

Chatten Associates will be participating in the special poster session for Robotics Technology Consortium (RTC) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) awardees to be held in conjunction with the Ground Robotics Capabilities Conference at the Lowes Royal Pacific, Orlando, FL. The poster session is scheduled for 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

We will present a poster on our work to date on "Improved Depth Perception to Aid Tele-Operation " (W15QKN-09-RPP-0001, RTC Agreement # 69-200902, Task Assignment # T0).

Chatten Associates will be exhibiting at the upcoming Ground Robotics Capabilities Conference, at the Lowes Royal Pacific, Orlando, FL, March 22-24, 2011. The Ground Robotics Capabilities Conference is a major military ground robotics conference supported by the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Ground Robotics Enterprise, and presented by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
