 | Knowing whats around you is not always easy. In an unmanned vehicle, such as the semi-autonomous HMMWV shown in the photo to the right, situational awareness can be very difficult.
Our Head-Aimed Remote Viewer (HARV) lets remote operators look around as though they were sitting in the vehicle. See video of this capability here.
For armored and up-armored vehicles, the increased protection of armor comes at the expense of limited situational awareness. Our HARV lets a completely enclosed crewman look around as though his head was out of the hatch. The HARV has both daylight and night-vision cameras, as well as IR and visible laser pointers. |  |
