The gimbal in the remote HARV unit (shown below) exactly duplicates the operator’s head motions. The sense of tele-presence is so convincing that the operator’s vision processing is ”fooled“ into believing the operator is actually on the vehicle. The result is a three to four times increase in situational awareness and operating efficiency.
Our HARV unit is a high-performance, low-cost solution to remote control of ground vehicles. The productivity of remote operations remains very high, even when the vehicle is beyond the operator’s line of sight. | | |
